The farthest distance
By all the words
We cannot say
Right next to each other.
This is deeply profound and utterly perfect. I know this feeling too well. You’ve captured it beautifully. ❤
Your words made my Sunday. Thank you dear ❤
The worst feeling is watching that person walk away after that exact moment you realize you should have said something.
Although, hopefully always close enough by our interactions and warmth. Wouldn’t you agree that actions (a smile, a kiss, a hug) speak more than whatever words could possibly express?
As always, love your post.
I agree completely with you. In cases where words are missing or become obsolete, an action becomes crucial and can solve alot. The same action can of course also be destructive and hurt, but at least something happens.
Thank you for your sweet words. Xx
Beautifully written, I too (as many I’m sure) have felt this. You have captured with simplicity something great. Great work.
Thank you so much John for your kind words.
My greatest regret – not having told someone how much I loved him when he was alive….
All my warmth to you, Kimberly. I’m certain he hears you every day ❤
Thank you. xx
That’s painful. Great work!! You say so much in such a few words.
Thank you so much Noora! It’s hard to keep it short but sometimes that’s what empowers a situation.
Exactly. I really enjoy your work, btw. Glad I found you. Love & inspiration, – N
I’m blushing. Thank you for reading! I’m on your blog, trying to follow you but it seems I can only do so by email subscription. Is that the only way? I would love to have your poems come up in my feed 🙂 xx
My pleasure – truly. An email subscription is just an alternative option. Now I’m confused. :)) There SHOULD be a follow “button” in the top toolbar? Upper-left corner?
Yes, normally I always find that little follow button but I can’t find it on your blog. I’m going to try to figure out how to follow you, otherwise I’ll just sign up for the email notifications. I also tried to like some of your poems but WordPress won’t let me. Something might be wrong with my account. 😦 But, just to let you know, I’m enjoying reading your work!
It may be a temporary WordPress bug, who knows. No worries at all :)) Oh, while typing this I notice a couple “likes” from you.
Yes! I was already following you. Or I somehow managed to solve it 🙂 Happy days!
You are getting very deep these days Ms Rosebud. I shall start visiting your blog with a spade from now on. Not to bury you, God forbid, but to uncover you and your words 🙂
Looking forward to it. Maybe you can help me unravel and sort out my messy head. I think it’s a reason for my depth namely 🙂
When we speak of your messy head, I take it we aren’t talking about a bad hair day?
Oh, if only it were a bad hair day! 😉
Men? Or life in general?
Life in general. Spring time – questioning of oneself with monochrome weather…
Well the good news is there is always the delirious promise of better, brighter weather to lift your spirit. And as for life in general, a good rule of thumb is be true to yourself, and go with your gut. Aside from that, you can always bend my ear if you want. And what ears I have, too 🙂
Excellent advice. Thank you dear Andy!
Du är välkommen, min vän.
