His act

He uses words
She’s never heard
Spits expressions
Teaches her lessons
He’s changed, she’s certain
Plays with curtain
A new facade
Shall she applaud?

  1. I like the uncertainty of it. Does she appreciate the lessons? Approve of the facade he portrays? And also the unresolved end. Does she applaud? I like to think that she does. And that makes her strong. Of course I could be totally misreading it-but great poetry makes you take a stance.

      1. Yes it’s like poetry that I write. I’m not big on going into it and explaining it all, I like to leave that up to the reader. As long as it isn’t too obscure. Let them take from it (or maybe not) what they will.
