It was Wednesday

You familiarize yourself with the thought
The thought which was once unimaginable
Never to be considered, pondered upon
Neglected, for it meant the worst had come
But the day came and disaster struck
What was yesterday a product of your imagination is today a fact of life
Tuesday’s nightmare turned into Wednesday’s reality
Think, dare not neglect
Consider, ponder upon the unfamiliar
Everyday ordinary turned upside down
Reality hitting you hard
The day he passed.

  1. Ah, I love this one. I understand more than anything. For me, it was never a nightmare (not even a thought), but a reality that just fell like a ton of bricks on a Monday. And life has never been the same. Ever.
